Aerodynamic studies are supported by CFD software. We make use of CFD two-dimensional simulations for the initial research and for sensitivity studies to the design parameters concerning the whole vehicle centerline.
CFD aerodynamic simulation can be supplemented by laboratory experimental tests or instrumental track or road tests for further research about aerodynamic fluxes.
